DEWALT 60V Cordess Pole Saw Kit, Telescoping

Description

Reach high tree branches on commercial properties with 60V cordless cutting power that matches gas engine performance. The DEWALT 60V Cordess Pole Saw kit extends overhead reach across municipal parks and corporate campuses without gas fuel hassles. This commercial battery saw trims branches cleanly. It cannot cut dense hardwood limbs exceeding eight inches in diameter.

A durable brushless electric motor pairs with a rigid aluminum telescoping pole and heavy-duty steel extension collar. The motor mounts inside the cutting head to provide direct drive torque without intermediate mechanical drive shafts. A 10-inch commercial guide bar and narrow-kerf cutting chain slice through limbs, while the automatic chain oiler maintains continuous bar lubrication. An integrated metal bucking spike grips branch wood during cuts.

Telescopic Pole Saw Build Specs

Commercial grounds maintenance crews and arborists require powerful cordless pole saws to cut high limbs quietly in noise-restricted municipal zones. This 60V kit handles demanding tree maintenance routes.

• 60V MAX brushless motor generates high cutting torque matching commercial gas pruners
• Telescoping shaft extends from seven to ten feet for fifteen-foot working reaches
• 10-inch commercial guide bar cuts tree limbs up to eight inches in diameter cleanly
• Direct-drive motor placement eliminates drive shaft torsional flex and maintenance
• Automatic chain oiling mechanism keeps bar grooves lubricated during vertical cutting passes
• Integrated metal bucking spikes steady the cutting head against branches during cuts
• FLEXVOLT 9.0 Ah battery pack delivers up to 96 cuts in 4-inch pine per charge

Dynamometer Motor Cutting Speed Telemetry

Bench cutting runs through green oak limbs record an impressive chain speed of 3800 FPM under cutting load. The brushless motor draws 24 Amps continuous during deep plunge cuts, maintaining chain velocity without stalling. Sound pressure meters register 83 dBA at operator ear level, running 15 dBA quieter than gas saws. Extended pole flex measures less than 0.40 inches under twenty pounds of load.

Cordless Pruning Handling Operating Limits

Slide the 60V battery into the base, loosen the shaft collar to extend the pole, check bar oil flow, and pull the trigger. Position the bar bumper against the branch before cutting. Do not operate this pole saw near high-voltage electrical wires.

• Guide bar rails demand deburring with a flat file every twenty cutting hours
• Chain oil delivery ports require wire probe cleaning after every work shift
• Battery receiver terminals require dry air blowouts every forty operating hours
