Role Overview: Senior Industrial Packaging Specialist

As a Senior Industrial Packaging Specialist at Nertools.com, you will oversee the structural configuration, safety strapping, and protective boxing of all outbound international freight. You will work directly with our warehouse management and engineering teams to translate equipment weight profiles, dimensions, and moisture sensitivities into customized, transport-hardened packaging configurations. Your expertise will directly prevent cargo degradation during long ocean transits or accelerated air cargo handling, ensuring our products arrive at client sites in perfect, field-ready condition.

Core Job Responsibilities & Daily Deliveries

The selected candidate will be completely responsible for executing and auditing our standardized international export packaging protocols every day:

  • Export Packing Execution: Building custom wooden crating, industrial-grade boxes, and custom pallets tailored to heavy cargo dimensions.
  • Moisture Control Allocation: Applying specialized moisture-barrier vacuum sealing and rust-prevention coatings to protect critical steel surfaces on machines like Lathes or Milling Machines from saltwater corrosion.
  • Heavy Cargo Securing: Utilizing heavy-duty industrial strapping, chains, and foam dampening systems to securely brace heavy components like Air Compressors or tractor parts inside sea containers.
  • Labeling & Compliance Data: Affixing precise international shipping labels, orientation markers, and Harmonized System (HS) code documentation sleeves onto finalized crates to guarantee smooth customs processing.
  • Inventory & Supply Auditing: Tracking warehouse packaging materials, including lumber, heavy shrink wrap, structural steel bands, and desiccant bags, to maintain continuous operational readiness.
